Cookies

Effective October 29, 2026 Version 2026-10-29

The short version

A few essential cookies keep you signed in and secure. They can’t be turned off.
Analytics cookies (Microsoft Clarity and Pixelworx) are on unless you turn them off. Turn them off any time below.
If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, we turn analytics off for you automatically.
Every cookie we set is listed here, with what it does and how long it lasts.

This summary is here to help you read the rest. If it ever differs from the sections below, the sections below are what counts.

Your choice

In shortAnalytics are on by default. This switch turns them off, right now.

Essential cookies stay on because the site can’t work without them. Your choice is remembered in the dapapp_cookie_choice cookie for 12 months.

Essential cookies

In shortNeeded to sign you in and keep things secure. Always on.

Cookie	What it does	How long
dapappio-session	Keeps you signed in as you move between pages.	Until you sign out or about 2 hours of inactivity
XSRF-TOKEN	Protects forms and requests from forgery.	Same as your session
remember_web_*	Keeps you signed in on this device if you tick “Remember me”.	Up to 400 days
dapapp_cookie_choice	Remembers your cookie choice so we don’t ask again.	12 months

Analytics cookies

In shortHelp us see how the website is used. On by default, and you can turn them off.

Cookie	What it does	How long
_clck	Microsoft Clarity: remembers a visitor ID for the site.	1 year
_clsk	Microsoft Clarity: connects page views into one visit.	1 day
CLID	Microsoft Clarity: identifies the first time Clarity saw this browser.	1 year
MUID	Microsoft: unique browser identifier used across Microsoft sites.	13 months
px_vid	Pixelworx, our own analytics: a random visitor ID so repeat visits are counted. It is also kept in this browser’s storage, along with a visit ID and any campaign tags from the link you used.	2 years
dapapp_first_touch	Remembers which site or campaign first sent you here, and the page you landed on, so we know what brings people to DapApp.	30 days
ANONCHK / MR / SM	Microsoft Clarity: checks whether Clarity can run and syncs its cookies.	Up to 7 days

Microsoft sets its cookies when analytics are on, and Microsoft’s own documentation describes them. The Pixelworx ones are our own. Turning analytics off deletes all of them. We review this list before each change.

Other ways to control cookies

In shortYour browser can block or clear cookies too.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, you won’t be able to sign in. Browsers and extensions that send Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track are respected automatically. For how we handle personal information more broadly, see the Privacy Policy.
