The daily activity planner for manufacturing teams
Keep production moving. Plan the work around it.
Give line setup, material staging, quality checks, maintenance, packing and shift handoffs a place on the team’s day. Keep production support duties visible beside the people and hours you plan.
Start with the work you know
A regular plan.
Room for the shift.
Put recurring setup, equipment checks and cleanups on the plan. Schedule the work that changes by day, such as incoming materials, planned service and shipping handoffs.
Assign a shared activity to the people doing it. Stagger lunches and plan supporting work around the coverage your operation needs.
Explore a sample week for one assembly team. It shows production support work and its handoffs in the DapApp planner.

Setup, a shared production run, staggered lunches, inspections, material staging, planned maintenance, shipping and end-of-shift handoffs share the week.
Keep the shift covered
Plan shared work and staggered breaks.
A shared production task can include the people assigned to the line. Add lunch and support duties around those work blocks, so the team can see the plan for the whole shift.
When someone is away, mark them OFF. A permitted user can check availability and adjust assignments to match the coverage plan.

The next person needs to know.
A task may be complete, partly done or missed when the shift ends. Staff can record an outcome and notes, so a lead can see what remains.
